Tyler Leslie, who was raised in southern Connecticut, fell in love with oysters and all things seafood from a very early age. He became increasingly interested in the impact shellfish have on the ocean and coastline while shucking oysters and serving at Seabear Oyster Bar in Athens, GA.
With a background in fine arts and project management, Tyler is most interested in finding creative and effective solutions to help bolster intertidal zones with recycled shells. Tyler is driven to help raise awareness about how the consumption of shellfish and recycling of shells can directly impact the longevity and well-being of our coasts’s ecosystems, as well as the communities of people living and working alongside them.
