Athens native Malcolm Provost's love of seafood, conservation, and all things Georgia led him to Shell to Shore, where he wrangles the volunteer and intern corps to keep the shell flowing.

An army veteran and world traveler, he believes in the power that a small and dedicated crew can wield to protect the home turf (and surf!). You can find him hauling shell to the coast, hiking the Appalachains, or in front of a dozen raw oysters at Seabear.
